not till the gravy train dries up anyway.  it seems that Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women” is going the way of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.” Del Ray has purchased Porter Grand’s “Little Women and Werewolves.”  the publisher says of the book

In this retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic, the beloved little women must keep not just the wolf, but the werewolves, from the door … and the kindly old gentlemen next door and his grandson may have some secrets to hide—or share with the March girls.

bets on what’s next?  “Jane Eyre and the Fae?”

    How about, The Three Musketeers and Mermaids, in which D’artagnan dumps Constance and takes up with a series of Sea Tarts, suggested publisher Elora’s Cave.

    How about taking on Shakespeare – “Romeo and Juliet and the Chupacabra”

    And I made myself chuckle with this one, combining a modern non-fiction work with an older classic: “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde & Sybil” – a madcap story of mistaken identities. Lots of identities…
