This is a reminder that we are beginning to survey our customers about the condition of our discs (CD, DVD) at the Snohomish Library this week. It is possible that a disc with a survey form will arrive in another library to fill a hold or as a return.
If a disc with a form arrives in another library to fill a hold, please leave the form in the disc for check out.
Discs returned with forms should be checked in as usual. If the form does not indicate a problem with the disc, remove the form and shelve the disc as you would normally. If the form indicates that the customer could not view or listen to the disc, please change the location to SRV2 and send the disc and form to the Service Center for cleaning and/or repair.
This survey project will continue through the month of May. At the end of the month, we’ll assess the extent of damaged material and decide whether to expand the survey to one or more libraries. Thank you for your cooperation.
