props to the genres
January 14, 2011
among the ALA award fanfare this week, RUSA announced its 2011 Reading List which highlights the best of the best in 8 genres: adrenaline (including suspense, thriller and adventure), fantasy, historical fiction, horror, mystery, romance, science fiction and women’s fiction. what’s extra special about this list is the inclusion of read-alikes and the short list, making for a great display and tool in reader’s advisory.
