Ypulse, a daily news and commentary website geared towards youth marketing to teens, tweens and Generation Y, surveyed tweens and the results were posted in Checking The Pulse: Tweens and Books.

Some of the findings:

Tweens are readers, 90% who responded to the survey responded that they “enjoy reading.”

When asked if they would read books on an eReader, 64% responded “what’s an eReader?”

64% said that they usually read a book before deciding to see the movie version.
