if you’re Barnes and Noble, at least according to the Motley Fool.  on Monday, the fools picked Barnes & Noble as their throw-away stock based on changing buying patterns, grim sales projections, slow sales from last quarter (both online and brick and mortar), charging customers for internet access, and the increasing popularity of ebooks.

hoping to capitalize on the popularity of the “Gossip Girls” on t.v. and the release of season 1 on dvd, Hachette is including the abridged audio CD which can be transferred to an iPod.  Anthony Goff of Hachette says “The teen and the late-teen market has been a really tough market for us.”  will this move help hook new listeners?  we’ll see….
