Collection Developments @ Sno-Isle

This morning's staff meeting featured a bunch of websites that Jim visits regularly to keep up with what's going on in libraryland. You can check out any of the sites that particularly interested you by going to the Collection Development Delicious feed. Check out the Jumpcut and Internet Archive site to see some interesting video sites that are very Web 2.0.  Look for minutes from Karen in the next few days.

Jumpcut is a video site where people post their videos and then you can remix them to create something totally new.

I’ve been out of the office the past couple days. I had planned on taking Tuesday off but Wednesday and Thursday were definitely not on my radar for staying home. Marie’s mother broke her ankle quite severely the other day. And while Marie has been at the hospital running the HMO gauntlet for her mom, I’ve been preparing the house for her to stay with us while she recuperates. Annette fell down the stairs at home and broke her ankle in two or more places. I’m very squeamish so I’m not clear on everything, when people talk about this stuff, I always want to cover my ears and do the lalalalalalallala I can’t hear you thing. Anyway, I’ll be in on Friday see you all then!
